Wa Salon is a luxury hair salon offering an exceptional experience to our clientele. We specialize in high-end hair services, including braiding, extensions, wigs, styling, and treatments. As we prepare for our grand opening this fall, we seek a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Position Overview
The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of Wa Salon and ensure that the salon delivers excellent customer service, maintains high standards of cleanliness and safety, and meets financial goals. This role requires an organized, detail-oriented leader, and passionate about the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Salon Operations: Manage all daily operations, including staff scheduling and inventory management, and ensure the smooth execution of services.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor salon staff, including stylists, receptionists, and assistants. Foster a positive and professional team environment.
- Client Experience: Ensure all clients receive a luxury experience from the moment they enter until they leave. Address client inquiries and resolve any issues on time.
- Financial Management: Oversee the salon’s budget, track sales, and monitor expenses. Work with the owner to develop and implement strategies to meet financial targets.
- Inventory & Vendor Relations: Manage salon products and supplies' inventory levels. Build and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
- Compliance: Ensure the salon adheres to local health and safety regulations and company policies. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the salon.
- Marketing & Sales Support: Implement marketing and promotional campaigns to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Promote retail sales and upsell services to maximize revenue.
- Technology & Systems: Oversee the salon management software, appointment booking systems, and other technologies. Train staff on their use and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role, preferably in the beauty or luxury service industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus on team development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, track financial performance, and work towards sales goals.
- Knowledge of salon management software and technology systems is a plus.
- Passion for the beauty and wellness industry.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
